Oakwood Lake Clean up days
Quote from Nick32 on May 27, 2025, 9:45 amHello All,
Last week I met with the TWP regarding much needed changes at Oakwood Lake Park. The Twp has agreed to must of our changes. They have given us permision to start on lights clean up. We are allowed to run Weed whips. Loppers small cutting tools. No chainsaws. The Twp will be handeling most of the large cutting along with brush hogging the dessignated areas. Here is what we need to have done by June.
Weed whip and remove all overgrowth and debrie alond the Tee pads. The Twp would be bringing in wood chips for each tee pad.
Looking at the 8th,15th, and the 22nd of June. I know we mentioned doing a fathers day event. We can plan a work day on the 15th along with a fathers day shootout to take place at oakwood or shooters alley.
If we have a good turn out, this work should go pretty quick. Please let me know if you can attend 1 or 2 of these dates.
Thanks
Nick
